Welcome to the Wood County Amateur Radio Club! The club was founded in 1954 to help serve the emergency communication needs of Wood County, Ohio. The county seat is Bowling Green which is the home of Bowling Green State University. The first meetings of the club were held in the garage of one of the founders, Paul Businger, W8QZK (silent key). From these humble beginnings, the club has continued to foster the enjoyment of Amateur Radio.
The club call sign is K8TIH and the club has been affiliated as an official ARRL club since 1957.
